With over 20 years in the fine jewellery business, I am a qualified goldsmith and fine jewellery designer, who has built up a wealth of experience using traditional jewellery techniques. I specialise in one-off, individually designed, statement rings, earrings, pendants, bangles, engagement rings and wedding bands. Having studied gemmology through The Gemmological Association of Great Britain, this has led me to my passion for diamonds, natural gemstones and pearls.

In 2005, I opened my store and atelier in Monaghan Town where I offer a personalised experience on an appointment only basis, consulting clients through their choices of fine jewellery and bespoke commissions. I believe that you should never be talked into a piece of jewellery or gemstone; it should talk to you, it should be an instant attraction. Sometimes it’s a case of reimagining or repurposing an heirloom or vintage piece that reflects the personality of the wearer, so I invest a lot of time into making sure that the fit is right, in every sense of the word.

My collections embrace traditional jewellery methods while at the same time creating modern pieces. My designs are influenced by nature and the richness of bygone eras. I am passionate about sourcing and using unusual gemstones that compliment and inspire my collections.

My style is very collaborative when working with clients. By fully understanding their loves, interests and their personal styles of jewellery, we can then design and create a piece that is tailored specifically for them.

Whether your choice of precious metal is yellow, red or white gold, silver or platinum, the style of setting, the shape of a stone, all raw material elements ensure that each piece is an individual as the customer.

In addition to diamonds, gemstones and precious metals, I have always admired pearls for the way in which nature has created something so natural and exquisite that it requires no additional enhancement. Pearls grow in a myriad of colours and finishes, varying from milk white, cream, pink, gold to blueish grey and from dark grey to pistachio green. From Akoya, Tahitian, Conch, Baroque, South Sea to freshwater, pearls are a timeless and precious addition to any collection and for anyone who appreciates a true gift from nature.
